When are you open? Bilpin Cider Company is open every day (except for Christmas day) from 10am to 4pm.
How many ciders do you have? We have seven alcoholic and four non-alcoholic ciders. Visitors can purchase a tasting paddle at the Cider Bar and this includes 4 x 200ml glasses of your choice from our ten varieties
Do you accept cash or card? We accept both cash and selected credit cards (Visa & MasterCard). WE do not accept AMEX at the Cellar Door.
Do we need to book? Bookings are not required for Cellar Door visitors unless it is a group of 12 people or more. Bookings and prepayment are required for weekend Picnic Hamper bookings and all bookings need to be completed online.
How do we get there? We are approximately 1.5 hours drive from Sydney CBD travelling through Richmond and up Bells Line of Road. Public transport and taxies are limited or non existent in the area.
What else can we do on the farm? Our Bilpin Cider Food Hut offers a selection of picnics, apple pies, brownies, coffee & tea etc. You can meet our friendly farm animals, enjoy the gardens, play lawn games and walk through our apple orchard.
Can you buy drinks there? The Cider Bar serves all 11 Bilpin Cider varieties as well as beer and wine. You can purchase cider takeaway sales through our Cellar Door. We also offer season specials at the Cider Bar - Mulled Cider, Taylors apple & ginger spritz as well as Wild Hibiscus cocktails.
Do you have any restrictions around bringing food/drink? We do not allow outside food and drinks as we serve food on the premises.
Can we bring our dog? We are pet friendly with a few simple rules – they must be on a leash and supervised at all times. Please pick up after your dog, we have poop bags available if you have forgotten your own. A water bowl for dogs is available.
Can we pick our own fruit? All of our apples go to making our ciders so there is no apple picking in our orchard. We can recommend local orchards for pick-your-own and fruit sales. The average fruit season runs from Christmas (with stone fruit) to around Mother’s Day, with apples starting late January.
Tell me about your picnics? Picnics are served every weekend and Public Holiday from 11am to 3pm. They are designed to serve 2 hungry people and are $60 per picnic. Gluten free picnics are available. Most dietary requirements can be catered for upon booking.
Do we need to bring our own chairs, cutlery etc? You can borrow our picnic blankets or we have outdoor and undercover seating. Table bookings cannot be guaranteed. We provide plates, cutlery etc with every picnic. You are welcome to bring your own chairs or picnic blanket if you wish.

When do you have live music? We hold our Thirsty Third Sundays on the 3rd Sunday of every month except August, with live music and great food from 12pm to 4pm. During Spring, Summer and Autumn we also have live music on the 1st Sunday of each month.
Do you host events? We can cater for small events of up to 40 people by appointment. We do not host weddings and our venue is not available for exclusive hire as we are open to the general public. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
