Generating Solar Electricity
We are committed to achieving 100% renewable energy for our farm.
- Installed 35 kW of solar panels.
- These panels can generate up to 170
kWh of electricity per day. - Future-ready: With the addition of battery storage, we aim to become entirely electricity self-sufficient in the near term.
Harvesting Rainwater
Sustainable water usage is a priority for us.
- 100,000 liters of tank storage for rainwater collection.
- Advanced filtration systems using UV and charcoal ensure potable water quality.
- Damwater is used for various applications, including bathrooms and farm operations.
Managing Wastewater
We’ve implemented innovative systems to recycle and reuse wastewater.
- On-site water treatment plant with an advanced environmental cycle system.
- Transforms wastewater from our operations into nutrient-rich water used to nourish our farmland. Currently supplying our Wildflower Meadow.
Sustainable Food Management
We ensure that food and organic waste are responsibly managed.
- Comprehensive composting system for food scraps and farm manure.
- Manure from chickens, alpacas, and sheep is converted into nutrient-rich compost to support soil health.
